Peter Strickland, director of cult feature films 'Katalina Varga' and 'Berberian Sound Studio' and soon to be released 'the Duke of Burgundy' will screen his 15 min 1997 film 'Bubblegum' starring Nick Zedd and Warhol Superstar Holly Woodlawn
and Nick Abrahams, who's exhibition 'Lions and Tigers and Bears' is currently on show at the Horse Hospital will screen 'No Age New York' from 1993, the first (but not best!) documentary on the Cinema of Transgression, including appearances from Lydia Lunch, Henry Rollins, Nick Zedd, Richard Kern and many others. 50 mins,
After the screenings, Nick will chat with Peter about the influence of the American Underground on both of their work and why they both looked to America for their inspiration in the 1990s. A talk and screening for all lovers of cult cinema about whatever happened to the underground, at the appropriately underground Horse Hospital.
