The third and final installment in this series of Aisteach Foundation live events. We are very exited to bring together, Áine O'Dwyer, Lucy Railton and Jennifer Walshe, to draw from the Avant Garde Archive of Ireland, expect ecclesiastical drones and more as this trio revisits historical figures from the margins of Irish culture. _____________________________________________________________

ÁINE O’DWYER is a composer, improviser and performer with a visual art background. She has performed widely as a solo artist and in collaboration with several others including her most recent performance at Counterflows festival with Mahamed Issa Haji Matona. Her solo releases include 'Anything bright or startling? 2013 ( second language ) and Music For Church Cleaners vol. 1 and 11 ( MIE 2015 ).

London and Berlin based musician LUCY RAILTON  has a broad out put ranging from performance (as a cellist), writing for dance, film making, curating and composition. Original works have been made and presented at Institute of Contemporary Arts - London, Lulea Kulturhausen - Sweden, Electronic Music Studio, Stockholm, Aldeburgh Music - England, House of Electronic Arts - Basel, James Cohen Gallery - New York, the Royal Opera House - London, Wysing Arts Festival - Cambridge and Dean Clough - Halifax. Commissions include the OST for Phillipe Parreno’s short film, Lin-Yen, PAF Festival of Film Animation, Czech Republic in collaboration with Rebecca Salvadori, Sonic Acts/Dark Ecology/Borealis Festival with artist Russell Haswell. Current and past collaboration include those with Peter Zinovieff, Kit Downes, Adrian Corker, Akram Khan, Aisha Orazbayeva and Sasha Milavic Davies. She is also co-artistic director and curator of the London Contemporary Music Festival, and founder and curator of the regular series Kammer Klang at Cafe Oto.

JENNIFER WALSHE is a composer, vocalist and performer. Her work has been performed all over the world by ensembles such as Alter Ego, ensemble recherche, Ensemble Resonanz, Apartment House, Crash Ensemble, Con Tempo Quartet, The Rilke Ensemble, The Irish Chamber Orchestra, Musica Nova Consort, and The Scottish Chamber Orchestra. In addition to her activities as a composer, Jennifer frequently performs as a vocalist, specialising in extended techniques.
