Wednesday 11th JulyDoors 7:30pm £7/£5 members & concessions "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" A live performance to accompany Lotte Reiniger's seminal work Little Sparta have created a live performance to the 1926 film "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" which was the worlds first feature length animated film. The performance is not a traditional score but instead reinterpretations of Little Sparta's music that accompanies the film. The film itself is a story from the Arabian Nights that was painstakingly made in stop motion animation using Shadow Puppets with incredible backgrounds and in extraordinary colour. The film is suitable for audiences of all ages and runs for just over one hour. www.littlesparta.com
