What is Mythopoetics?

We are a collective of student and working artists organising bi-yearly screening and performance events that subvert the rigidity of film festivals and live gigs allowing audience members to feel immersed and promote discussion.

For this event, Folk-Fauna, we will celebrate new and young artists, working with filmmakers, a performance group and two live musicians to showcase exciting works based around the themes of folklore, mythology and childhood tales.

Upside down, eyes wide shut, a whistle and a bell, curtains draw near, follow the lamb and let the mare guide you through the strange vignette. Dreams await at The Horse Hospital

A screening of short films by Richard Ashrowan, Marianna Simnett, Florence Rose, Charlie Jimenez, Cult, and Isabella Josephine Leon till 9pm. With live performances by Berfin Aksu, Avice Caro, Damsel Elysium, Charlie Jimenez and Sophie Chinner till midnight.
