ABOUT CATHI UNSWORTH:
CATHI UNSWORTH is the irrefutable UK queen of crime noir. The London based novelist, writer and editor began her career on the legendary music weekly Sounds at the age of 19 and has worked as a writer and editor for many other music, film and arts magazines since, including The Guardian, Fortean Times, Bizarre, and Uncut.
Her first novel THE NOT KNOWING was published in 2005, since when she has penned THE SINGER, BAD PENNY BLUES, WEIRDO and WITHOUT THE MOON, all to critical acclaim.
Her latest work is THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC: set during the Second World War, it’s an evocative tale that blends fact and fiction and starts with the gruesome discovery of a female corpse stuffed inside an enormous elm tree. ABOUT JAYNE HARRIS:
As well as being a writer and magazine columnist, JAYNE HARRIS is Britain’s foremost female paranormal investigator, and the founder & director of HD PARANORMAL & HDP MEDIA PRODUCTIONS.
She’s penned two books concerning the supernatural – WHAT DWELLS WITHIN and PEGGY THE DOLL – and has worked as a consultant on several worldwide TV networks including CBS Reality, the Discovery Network, and the BBC.
WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH-ELM? Is her debut documentary film, and investigates the mysterious case of a skeleton found inside a hollow tree in 1943. The documentary explores the various theories, which include witchcraft and espionage, in more detail than has been seen before, culminating in a paranormal investigation in woodland where it's alleged her ghost has been spotted.
