RENDERYARD supported by The Horse Hospital and the THINK TIC brings to LONDON and to SPAIN for sixth consecutive year the latest generation in International Short Film Making. Supporting film makers from all backgrounds and cinematic styles in four different categories; ANIMATION, SHORT FILM, MUSIC VIDEOS and DOCUMENTARY.
This years Film Festival counts with the presence of over 12 both European and international countries, with strong participation from England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, France, Germany, Norway, Finland, USA, Canada, Poland, Australia (Western Australia), Japan, Korea, China, Africa, India, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and a selection of 40 films selected from over 500 film entries, competing all for the Renderyard Film Award 2010 on each category.
A Film Festival and networking weekend of SHORT FILM Making INNOVATIVE, QUALITY and CRAFT direction showcasing film work such as 'Red Princess Blues’ by established American director Alex Ferrari & leading actor Richard Tyson (starring in Ridley’s Scott’s ‘Black Hawk Down’ & ‘Kindergarden Cop’). ‘Two Good Crooks’ a funny and intelligent comedy thriller by Norwegian director Thomas Lunde who is coming from Norway to promote his film and watch our international shorts during the Festival weekend.
A crafted horror short ‘BANSHEE’ by British director Michael Elkin and two great films by leading British young fillmmakers ‘I Love Matt Johnson’ by Jon Garbett and ‘Pudding Bowl’ by Vanessa Caswill who will be promoting their work at The Horse Hospital.
IN MUSIC VIDEOS a great combination of music & mixed visual styles and brave projects such as Limelight Film & Arts Awards Nominee ‘Lay Down and Die’ by Gavin Randall Music (The Monday Club & Melting Point Media), SOLAR LIFE a haunting and gorgeous promotional video featuring a medley of tunes off the album Gang Gang Dance – Bebey (DJ/rupture & Matt Shadetek Remix) directed by animator Sara Taigher. The ultra original ‘Devil Of Mine’ by Thomas Goldser with great performances in dancing, singing and music composition and many more...

IN ANIMATIONS the gothic unique style of ‘The Painter Of Skies’ by Spanish animator Jorge Morais, the amazing colours and character development of ADRIFT by British director and animator Ben Clube and the special collaboration with all the crafted animations from the VSA Computer Animation School from New York.
DOCUMENTARIES are true to its medium and this year there are remarkable projects such as ‘GIGS FIRST’ by director Jason Brooks, documenting us on how organisations are using music to strengthen young people at risk. ‘The Ghost Village Project’ by Scottish director Tim Daly and the Graffiti artists group Agents of Change, a brave creative project in which we can appreciate the transformation of an abandoned 1970s village off the Scotish coast turning into an arts community project. The Ghost Village Project and the Graffiti artists group will be at the festival talking to us about their enriching experience.
The winning films and Awards on each category will be announced on Friday the 15th and on Saturday the 16th of October at The Horse Hospital by Mark Reid Renderyard’s Founder & Director and Estefania Merino Renderyard’s Codirector.
