A feature-length interview with the painter, sculptor and filmmaker Walerian Borowczyk (1923 - 2006). Filmed during the editing of what would turn out to be Borowczyk’s final animated short (Scherzo Infernal, 1984), this interview provides a unique insight into both the work and practice of this remarkable artist. Illustrated with a clips from Borowczyk’s dazzling films and archival footage of the director at work, this documentary features the controversial filmmaker discussing painting, the nature of cinema and sex.
