Random Acts Presents screens an exciting selection of short films by young London based artist filmmakers. From animation and comedy, to dance and spoken word – these bold and creative short films reflect the mosaic of contemporary life in England through the lens of its young artists.

The films screened in Random Acts Presents are the result of commissioning opportunities enabled by ICA, Calling the Shots, Rural Media, Screen South and Tyneside Cinema. The project is a joint initiative by Arts Council England and Channel 4 Random Acts, seeing many of the short films broadcast by Channel 4 on television or online as part of Random Acts’ First Acts series.
The project develops talent by offering film education, training, production support and funding to 16-24 year-olds to produce their short film. By 2018, 360 films will have been made and screened to audiences nationwide.
