Ophelia Bitz presents a multi-sensory night of rare antique porn, cabaret performance and interactive lectures from contemporary sex professionals at Bloomsbury’s fantastic Horse Hospital.

ArtWank pairs slapstick comedy with erotic cinema, and screens the strangest, funniest, most unusual footage available as well as encouraging porno-sing-alongs, debate and dressing-up.

Following sold-out success at the Marlborough Theatre in Brighton, ArtWank comes to it’s spiritual home at the multi-media gallery The Horse Hospital to kick off capital proceedings. Previous screenings have included Jean Genet’s ‘Un Chant D’Amour’, a Belgian Super 8 spunky football anthem sing-along, sexy food advice from Bill Shipton; the Godfather of Splosh, 1930’s al fresco wrestling porn and early animations, trick photography and more black and white smut than you can shake a whip at!

Guest speaker Kitty Stryker: a contemporary courtesan and sex-writer, Kitty will deliver a mini-lecture on Why Sex Is Fun, clowns, kinky psychology and DIY porn.

Deranged performance artiste Crimson Skye and her Supermassive Black Hole will titillate, confuse and arounse you beyond realms of normality and good taste.

Maestro accordionista Tom Baker will be pumping his organ furiously to the flickering of the silver screen and may just treat you to songs of treachery, vodka and sub-aquatic monsters. Or he may just eat your soul.

Your resident hostess is the inimitable potty-mouthed pin-up Ophelia Bitz. This classless broad has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman's Hour, on Channel 4 and toured with The Tigerlillies, Dresden Dolls and pop star Mika. She has a cabaret residency at Soho’s Madame JoJos every Thursday night from January 27th.
