The No9 bus to Utopia

DOORS 7:30pm £5 advance tickets (CLICK HERE) or £6 on the door

In 2008, after being dumped by his long-term girlfriend, David Bramwell took a year off life and set out in search of utopia. He spent his time living in some of the world's most extraordinary communities, including a futuristic city in the Arizona Desert, a sacred Scottish caravan site, sexual Arcadias and an Italian community with singing plants, a secret underground temple the size of St Paul's Cathedral and a 'fully functioning time machine'! Inspired by the people he met, Bramwell returned home and put into action the things he had learned, by transforming his neighbourhood into his own vision of utopia!

Mixing slides, comedy and mischief, this is autobiographical storytelling theatre in the fine tradition of Ken Campbell and Spalding Gray.

David has won awards for 'Best Comedy' and 'Outstanding Theatre' in Brighton festival. He has spoken at TED, Idler Academy and the School of Life. In 2011 he won a Sony Award for his work on BBC Radio.
