MONOCHROME
DOORS 7:30PM
TICKETS £5 ON THE DOOR
A night of immersive sound states for multiple synthesizers, electric guitars and flutes featuring An Infinity Room (Sydney/Brisbane), Christopher Brett Bailey (London) and more.
Ambient, enigmatic and evocative .. a palate of singular sound colours refracting in space. Monochrome brings together various ensembles of the same type of instrument such as synthesizers, electric guitars and flutes to create a micro rainbow of sound. Monochrome is curated by Julian Day and Luke Jaaniste of LOUD+SOFT and Super Critical Mass, whose works for small and large homogenous groups have featured at New York’s MATA Festival, FutureEverything in Manchester and the Aurora Festival in Sydney. This night will change your life.
An Infinity Room (A.I.R) inhabits a hazy world of psycho-active drones and overlapping ambient textures. AIR features multiple identical synthesizers effected by heavy bolts and has appeared at Whitechapel Gallery, Café Oto, The Old Blue Last, Het Nuthius (The Hague), Madame Claude’s (Berlin) and Exapno (New York). www.aninfinityroom.com
