Cabaret Melancholique is a yearly event in which a series of acts take place that fall between shelves of classification. All anonymous. Tolstoy meets music hall, surgery disguised as conjuring, tear-jerking moments of disbelief, music to gag by, silent ventriloquism, Wilson, Keppel and Betty, Brush swallowers etc, etc each containing the possibility of a wonderful and meaninglessly sublime moment of magic.
This February the cabaret will visit the Horse Hospital, in a rare venturing from its December evening chicanery, peeking into the world of the horsey and sniffing about a bit.
