‘The works i this exhibition are shaped by the stirrings of of our post-trust ae. Of hidden agendas, the opacity of power and the conspiratorial dialogues that routinely unsettle our perception of the world. After the catastrophic invasion of Iraq in 2003 I began turning over thoughts concerning the increasingly impenetrable side of society and our institutions - of sofa government, smoke and mirrors. For those with nefarious ambitions the arrival of AI offers new opportunities for deception, and the open source offerings of Deepfake and Voice Cloning provide a dream combination - a mark of inordinate power.
